Return & Refund Policy

At ShieldTech, we take pride in building premium protective products designed to perform. Every shield is made with care, packaged intentionally, and shipped with quality in mind. If there is an issue with your order, we are committed to making it right within the terms outlined below.
1. Return Window
Returns must be requested within 30 calendar days of confirmed delivery, based on the tracking information associated with your order.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the item must be returned:
- unused
- undamaged
- in its original packaging
- with all included materials, accessories, and documentation
- in the same condition in which it was originally delivered
Proof of purchase is required for all returns, including your order number and original order confirmation or receipt.
3. Important Product Notice Regarding Magnets
All products featured, marketed, and sold on TryShieldTech.com are centered around the use of magnets and a magnetic cover system. This is a core part of the product design and functionality.
If a return is requested because of the use of magnets, magnetic functionality, or because the customer no longer wants a magnetic product, the return will be subject to:
- a 15% restocking fee, plus
- the cost of return shipping
These returns are not eligible for free return shipping.
4. Returns for Product Issues
We do offer free returns for verified product-related issues, including:
- fitment issues
- defects
- shipping damage
- other confirmed issues with the shield itself
If you believe your product has a legitimate issue, please contact us before returning it so our team can review the situation and provide the appropriate next steps.
5. Return Packaging Requirements
Our shields are made from high-quality materials and packaged precisely to preserve their condition during transit. Because of this, all returned items must be sent back in the same manner and condition in which they were originally shipped.
If a returned shield is folded, compressed, improperly packaged, damaged in return transit, or otherwise not returned in its original shipped condition, ShieldTech reserves the right to assess the item upon inspection and deduct any resulting costs from the refund.
Any deduction will be based on the condition of the returned item and the actual costs incurred upon review.
6. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please email info@tryshieldtech.com with:
- your order number
- the item(s) you wish to return
- the reason for the return
Please do not send a return without written approval first.
If your return is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with return instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
7. Refund Process
Once your shield has been returned, received, reviewed, and inspected, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original form of payment.
Please note that refunds may be reduced by any applicable:
- restocking fees
- return shipping charges
- inspection-based deductions related to return condition
After a refund is issued, please allow 3–10 business days for the credit to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
8. Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless:
- the item arrived damaged
- there is a verified fitment issue
- the wrong product was sent
9. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If your order arrives with a verified defect, damage, or fitment issue, please contact our team and we will guide you through the appropriate resolution.
10. Custom or Special Orders
Any custom, made-to-order, personalized, or specially manufactured item is considered final sale and is not eligible for return or exchange.
11. Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to request a change or cancellation, contact us immediately at info@tryshieldtech.com.
Once an order has entered processing or shipped status, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
12. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund, we recommend first checking with your bank or credit card provider, as processing times can vary.
If more than 14 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still do not see the credit, please reply to your return approval email and our team will review it.
